Dr. Marianthi (Mary) Apostoloudi was born on the beautiful island of Samothraki and moved to Athens at a very young age.
Education
She graduated in 1985 from the Medical School with a degree of “Excellent”.
Her diploma thesis was titled:
“Studio Histologic cantitativ Al. stromei Hepatice in Hepatitele Acute grave”.
Specialization
• From 1986 to 1989 she completed her rural medical service, while she received her specialty in Surgery at the 2nd Surgical Department of the NIMTS Hospital in 1990.
• From September 1990 to 1992 she pursued her specialty in Gynecology at the General Laiko Hospital of Athens.
At the same time, for 6 months in 1992, she trained in Cytology, Pathology, and Endocrinology.
• From 1992 to 1994 she received her specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Tzaneio General Hospital of Piraeus.
• From 1994 to 1995 she served as Registrar of the Gynecology Clinic at the same hospital.
• In 2018 she trained in Vaginal Laser.
Collaborations
• From 1995 to 2012 she maintained a Private Practice and IKA and collaborated with the Private Hospital LITO and the Private Hospital IASO.
• From 2014 to 2018 she was a scientific associate at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center.
• From 2010 until today she has been a Shareholder – Associate (Member of the Administration) of the Surgical, Gynecological, and Obstetrics Department of the REA Maternity Hospital.
• From 2010 until today she has maintained a Private Practice in Goudi, Attica.
• Additionally, she serves as Vice President of the Hellenic Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Research – Presentations – Conferences
Throughout her career she attended a large number of conferences, where she participated with studies and presentations such as:
• Primary malignant melanoma of the vagina
• Human papillomavirus (HPV) type 1
• Gestational diabetes mellitus
• Simultaneous intrauterine and tubal pregnancy
• Endometriosis
• Labor and pregnancy, etc.
She has also conducted a dissertation on the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
