Alexandros Filippidis, a British national of Greek origin, together with his son Tristan and his daughter Melanie, were—and continue to be—entrepreneurs based in the United Kingdom.Their activities focus on the fields of Health and Development.
In the late ’90s and early ’00s, they expanded their activities by investing in land and property in Greece.Their company, Quality Care Ltd, was partially sold in 2007, while Tristan retained and traded under his own name the other half of the business.
In 2007, Alexander secured the services of Agnes Milarska-Richter, who had previously worked at Quality Care Choice Ltd as a catering manager— a trusted and reliable individual who has been his right-hand person ever since. Alexander was responsible as a Category A CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) holder, while all the company’s employees were Category B. He was also responsible for the company’s Health & Safety Policy and its implementation, as well as the training of all staff, including NVQ qualifications. He introduced Quality Assurance, ISO 2002, and investment in people and management systems.
Pelion was selected after numerous studies and projects as the first choice for living and retiring under the sun. Pelion fulfilled most—but not all—of the requirements of the search, which focused on a region of natural and unspoiled beauty and organic development, an area with impressive landscapes and uninterrupted views to the south.
